Misty Midsummer Morning

Often in North Garden, especially in summer after an overnight rain, the morning sunlight  would be shrouded in fog.  If the weather conditions were right, a mist would hug the ground, particularly under the trees, until almost mid-day.  In this painting, the mist has taken hold under the trees on the far ridgeline.  TO
